July 5-6 | Bonn, Germany
The International VDI Congress, “Drivetrain for Vehicles 2017,” organized by VDI Wissensforum, will take place from July 5-6 at the World Conference Center, in Bonn, Germany.
The conference will cover areas about the newest developments and a marketplace for all issues concerning automotive transmissions.
As an exhibitor of the event, TREMEC encourages you to attend and experience the benefits of the Symposium.
Products on display in the TREMEC booth will include the TR-3160 6-speed manual transmission. This high-torque transmission provides maximum performance in a very small, lightweight package. Powertrain variations are found in the Mustang Shelby GT350, the Chevrolet Camaro and the Cadillac ATS-V.
Also on display will be TREMEC’s new dual clutch transmission, the 7-speed TR-9007 DCT. This exciting development features a unique “virtually dry” wet dual clutch, an extremely sophisticated transmission control unit, and integrated mechatronic systems for optimal vehicle performance.
The VDI Transmission Congress 2017 – famous and well-tried now at a new Venue
Having run many successful events at the venue in Friedrichshaften for a number of years, the international VDI Congress “Drivetrains for Vehicles“ is now ready to move house. This summer the Congress will be held in Bonn for the first time ever, Germany’s former Capital, not far from what used to be the Deutsche Bundestag and the German headquarter of the United Nations. Located in a prime spot on the Rhine, this fairly new Congress building equipped with state-of-the-art technology is characterized by an inviting architecture suffused with light, which epitomizes openness and transparency. This is where German history encounters a modern, international atmosphere - a contrast with a particularly stunning effect.
